Originally located from Japan, the Pacific Oyster is one of the most widely cultured oyster in existence. The Pacific oysters are sold under a variety of names, usually denoting their race or growing area. Most tend to think of a Pacific oyster as a creamier oyster, a succulent mineral type or ocean taste, versus an Atlantic oyster where you can taste the saltiness of the ocean.

If you have ever had the pleasure to have experienced a Korean market or even a Korean town such as the one in Los Angeles. You would have noticed this type of off beat Korean fish Jerky being grilled on the street corners.

Jwipo has a fish taste with a subtle sweat flavor ,just a little chewy at times. This is the Korean version of jerky but made with fish. Korean Jwipo is made primarily with file fish. This is a tasty treat off the beaten bath of normal street food.
